What is Navelo?

Navelo is a smart route planning platform for cyclists that transforms your GPX files into complete cycling adventures. Upload your routes and automatically discover sleeping accommodations, restaurants, water sources, and other points of interest along your journey.

How do I get the app on my phone?

📱 iPhone (Safari)

  1. Open Safari on your iPhone.

  2. Go to https://navelo.netlify.app

  3. Tap the Share icon (square with an arrow pointing up) at the bottom.

  4. Select Add to Home Screen.

  5. Rename it to Navelo (optional) and tap Add.

👉 Navelo will now appear on your home screen, just like a regular app.

🤖 Android (Chrome)

  1. Open Google Chrome on your phone.

  2. Go to https://navelo.netlify.app

  3. Tap the three dots in the top-right corner.

  4. Select Add to Home screen.

  5. Rename it to Navelo (optional) and confirm.

👉 You’ll now see Navelo on your home screen and it opens in fullscreen like an app.

How accurate are the POI locations?

POI data comes from OpenStreetMap, which is community-maintained and generally very accurate. However, we recommend verifying important locations before your trip.

How does Navelo work?

    • Drinking: Drinking water sources, water points, fountains, natural springs
    • Shelter: Covered picnic sites, bicycle repair stations, shelters
